Requirements
- Minimum deposit of PKR 25,000/- for trading.
- Scanned CNIC image (front and back).
- Proof of IBAN (image of cheque instrument).
- Mobile number (SIM on your name).
- Proof of income source (bank statement & pay slip for employment, or letterhead & tax return for business).
- Proof of address (image of utility bill).
- Business card of employer (in case of employment) or business card of yourself (in case of business).
Important Notes
- Make sure all the information provided in the form is true and correct.
- Make sure the uploaded images are clear and visible.
- Proof of IBAN should be a clear picture of main applicant’s cheque.
- SIM should be registered on main applicant’s name and not be on a converted network.
- Source of income proof is mandatory. For business, email tax return or 6-month bank statement of same account connected to employer with current dated salary slip.
- Minimum deposit is PKR 25,000/-.
- For employer address, include your employer’s visiting card. For business address, use your own business visiting card.
- Zakat CZ-50 affidavit can be acquired from SCS or city court if required (for non-payable status only).

Q: What is the minimum investment I can open an account with?
A: You can open an account with PKR 25,000/-. This amount will be available to you for trading after deduction of annual charges.
Q: Can I transfer my funds to the brokerage firm?
A: No. To safeguard the interest of investors, PMEX has introduced a unique Direct Fund Mode (DFM). Customers deposit margins directly with the Exchange and can withdraw directly to their bank accounts without the involvement of brokers.
Q: What are the commission rates?
A: You can check the detailed commission structure on the SCS website under the PMEX commission section.
Q: Will I have to provide biometric verification if I open an account through your online portal?
A: No. Biometric verification is not required for accounts opened through our digital platform.
